Users may experience an error message stating "Invalid Certificate" when connecting to WROAMS.
If you are experiencing this issue, you will have to uninstall the Forticlient from your computer, remove the Forticlient certificate from your computer's Keychain, then install the Forticlient again.
Please note: These instructions involve using the Terminal on macOS. Proceed with caution if you are not familiar with the Terminal, as incorrect commands may affect system functionality.
Request Disconnection from EMS
In order to uninstall the Forticlient application from your Mac, please request disconnection from the EMS server using the following link: WROAMS EMS Disconnection Request
Uninstall the Fortinet Client
Open a Terminal window to manually remove FortiClient references using the following commands:
cd /
cd Library/LaunchDaemons
sudo rm -rf com.fortinet.forticlient.*
cd /
cd "Library/Application Support/Fortinet"
sudo rm -R FortiClient
Once removed, restart your computer.
Once restarted, open the Finder. Go to Applications, then double click the Forticlient Uninstaller application and uninstall the Forticlient app.
Remove the Forticlient Root Certificate from your computer's Keychain
Open the Keychain Access - you can do so by holding Command + SpaceBar and searching for "Key
